World Out of Home Organization · September 2026 · Report 1: Geography & Country Rankings
The WOO Global pDOOH Expenditure Study 2026 is the first credible, supply-side measure of programmatic Digital Out-of-Home revenue at global scale. Independently aggregated by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from confidential submissions by twelve SSP platforms, it covers more than forty markets across the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific — establishing that global pDOOH reached $1.339 billion in 2025, 7.0% of all DOOH spend.
Report 1 maps the geography of that spend: the markets leading by volume, the very different markets leading by penetration, and the structural opportunities in between — from Germany’s 31.8% penetration rate to Eastern Asia’s $7.3bn DOOH base at just 0.6% programmatic take-up. "WOO exists to advance the Out of Home industry globally, and that requires credible data. The level of SSP participation in this inaugural study — twelve platforms submitting confidential revenue data directly to PwC — is a testament to the industry’s commitment to transparency. This is a landmark moment for the measurement of our industry." — Tom Goddard, President, WOO
