Naren joined Primesight in 1991 as a Financial Analyst and was appointed Managing Director in 1995 (aged 29), floating the business on the London Stock Exchange for £13.5M in 1997. In 1999 Primesight was sold to SMG plc (now STV plc) In 2007, Naren, partnering with the Private Equity firm GMT Communications, bought Primesight from SMG.
In late 2009, Titan’s (previously Maiden Outdoor) billboard portfolio was acquired, moving Primesight to a clear number 2 in the billboard sector of the UK outdoor market.
Recent years saw the development of a highly successful network of digital screens in Cinema foyers across the country and are currently developing a national network of Large Digital Billboards.
In 2016 Primesight moved into the airport advertising sector after securing the advertising right with Manchester Airport Group and then acquiring Airport Media Group
In 2018 sold Primesight to Global Radio after achieving outstanding returns for shareholders.
Naren was Chairman of the Outdoor Media Centre (OMC) (2013-2014), a Director of Route, the outdoor industry research body and Trustee of NABS (The National Advertising Benevolent Society). Founder of ‘Media for All’.
