Rosanne has served as President of OMAC (Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada) for 11 years and in 2015 took on the added role as President of COMB (Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau). Rosanne has helped to advance the OOH industry through the development of measurement, marketing and education initiatives designed to increase acceptance and consideration of OOH advertising.
Under Rosanne’s leadership, COMB is exploring alternative measurement approaches to update and enhance the audience information currently provided to plan OOH campaigns.
In 2016 OMAC and COMB launched an OOH Certification Program targeted at media planners, marketers and schools. The new program provides participants with comprehensive knowledge of OOH by combining on-site training with interactive learning.
Rosanne has led the industry’s government affairs efforts coordinating industry response and communications on regulatory and tax issues.
Rosanne’s business career spans a wide variety of media and senior roles. She began her advertising career with Mediacom where she held several positions before taking on the role of Vice President, Marketing and Research. Her research into “What Works in OOH” was published in the Journal of Advertising Research and presented internationally in the UK, Australia and the US.
