The Creative Award - Digital category is for campaigns that take advantage of all that DOOH has to offer – not just the digital screen itself, but motion, data, programmatic delivery, built-in technology and most importantly, a brilliant creative idea.
At its most basic, Digital utilises a digital screen to deliver its message. This is different to backlit Classic or scrollers (even though they may use LEDs for illumination). In general, it is not paper-based. Most importantly, it must be able to be bought as a standard media buy and should not involve any special build elements. It can be a single panel, all the way up to large, feature screens. It can be mounted on a vehicle or a static location. Anamorphic also fits in the Digital category. Any extra technology, such as wifi, cameras, motion detection, Bluetooth must be part of the standard ad unit and available to anyone booking the location (there is a separate category for special builds).
Nominations can only be made by WOO members, but we actively encourage you to nominate ANY campaign you think is worthy of an award, from any country, from any client or agency. If you have a connection to the campaign, all the better. The WOO Awards are to celebrate and elevate the very best OOH campaigns in the world so feel free to nominate multiple campaigns.
